In the eyes of Our Lady of Guadalupe

As I write, we have just concluded the first of our celebrations for the feast of Our Lady of Guadalupe. It was a blessing to see so many of you — several thousand — at our festivities and midnight Mass at the Cathedral of Our Lady of the Angels.

A way forward on immigration

This past weekend, we began our celebrations of the Virgin of Guadalupe. It was so good to see so many of you and your families coming to praise Our Lady at the Dec. 4 procession and Mass in East Los Angeles.

No soy el único en haber observado que este largo tiempo de campaña expuso varias divisiones profundas existentes en nuestra sociedad y una ansiedad real acerca de la dirección hacia la que se dirige nuestro país en el futuro.
