Catholic Cemeteries and Mortuaries of the Archdiocese of Los Angeles will host the annual in-person Career Fair on Tuesday, January 25, 2022, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Calvary Cemetery and Mortuary (4201 Whittier Blvd., Los Angeles 90023) and on Tuesday, February 1, 2022 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at San Fernando Mission Hills Cemetery and Mortuary (11160 Stranwood Ave., Mission Hills 91345).

Catholic Cemeteries and Mortuaries is a ministry of the Church, a beneficiary of the faithful’s daily prayers for the souls of the departed and the provider of a resting place on holy ground. Families come to us for pre-planning and at need.

“We are seeking candidates who will be able to help those wishing to plan their funeral and select their final resting place for when the time comes or help those grieving over the loss of a loved one with respect and compassion to make arrangements,” said Annabelle Baltierra, senior director of the Archdiocese’s Office of Human Resources. “The candidate will understand and uphold the teachings of the Catholic Church in regard to caring for the deceased. Come to work for an organization that provides for your spiritual and career growth.”

Those interested are asked to bring their resumes for on-the-spot interviews.

Cemeteries and Mortuaries open positions include embalmers, funeral services assistants, support staff, at-need and pre-need counselors, managers and 40 positions for groundkeepers.
