EWTN At 1:30am, the 2010 Mexican drama 1531: A Story That Is Not Finished Yet tells the true story of Our Lady of Guadalupe. At noon, Los Angeles Archbishop José Gomez will celebrate Holy Mass on the Feast of Our Lady of Guadalupe (re-airs midnight).

19th Annual ‘La Virgen De Guadalupe’ Production
Tonight and tomorrow, the Cathedral of Our Lady of Angels Downtown will welcome several thousand visitors for what’s being called the city’s largest theatrical holiday production, “La Virgen de Guadalupe, Dios Inantzin.”

Cathedral Chapel celebrates 95th anniversary
Cathedral Chapel Parish will hold its 95th Anniversary and Christmas Fundraiser Gala on Saturday, Dec. 17, beginning at 5 p.m. at the Wilshire Country Club, 301 N. Rossmore Ave. The gala includes music, dancing and a raffle. Cathedral Chapel School principal Tina Kipp will be honored with the Parish Lifetime Achievement Award. Kipp has dedicated 50 years of life to Catholic education, serving as principal of Cathedral Chapel School since 2003. On Sept. 3, 2017, Kipp was awarded the Pro Ecclesia et Pontifice on behalf of Pope Francis for her tireless commitment to the Catholic Church. Known as the “Cross of Honor,” it is the highest medal awarded to lay people by the Papacy.
