Archdiocese partners with parishes and community organizations for Foster Awareness Month
In May, the Archdiocese of Los Angeles’ Office of Life, Justice and Peace is celebrating National Foster Care Month by connecting the 298 parishes throughout the tri-County Archdiocese (Los Angeles, Ventura and Santa Barbara) with informational resources, prayers for Mass and partner agencies to help the community of faith learn about the numerous ways that they can change a child’s life.

Six Catholic school golfers will play for the CIF-Southern Section individual championship, after finishing in the top 20 of the Individual Regionals on May 7.
Earning title-round berths via the Southern Regional at Skylinks Golf Course in Long Beach were Jack Rahon of Servite (70), Andrew Hoekstra of Mater Dei (71) and Caden McMackin of J.Serra (71).
