The Pilgrim’s Perspective of WYD: Smelling like Sheep
Estimates ranged from 1 million to 3 million pilgrims in attendance for the 31st World Youth Day in Krakow, Poland. Although that’s a substantial discrepancy in numbers, you would never know the difference between 1 or 2 million when immersed in a seemingly endless crowd of people. All things considered, the total number is really just a footnote to the major happenings of this international Catholic event.

‘Vita’ means life
CAMARILLO — On July 22-23, more than one hundred people attended the very first Vita Institute ever held in southern California. The two-day institute, sponsored by the Notre Dame Center for Ethics and Culture, in partnership with the Archdiocese of Los Angeles and the archdiocese’s Office of Life, Justice and Peace, was held at St John’s Seminary and presented a condensed version of an elite training program for leaders in the national pro-life movement.
