Office of Ethnic Ministry celebrates diversity picnic, looks forward to Cultures Mass
On July 22, the Archdiocese of Los Angeles celebrated the vibrant ethnic diversity of the local Catholic community with its 3rd annual picnic in Griffith Park. The event’s entertainment included traditional Korean songs and dances, Salvadorian cultural dances and a piñata for the children.

MISA PARA CELEBRAR A LOS INMIGRANTES REÚNE A MILES EN LA CATEDRAL ANGELINA
Grupos de peregrinos convergieron en un solo lugar: la Catedral de Nuestra Señora de los Ángeles, para allí celebrar – junto a otros fieles- la Misa de reconocimiento a todos los inmigrantes. Uno procedía del Condado de Orange y el otro se le unió días después en Boyle Heights. En la ruta se les fueron acoplando más caminantes.

Rosary Academy in Fullerton recently announced the appointment of Shawna Pautsch as their new head of the school. Following an extensive search, the selection committee agreed that Pautsch, a previous faculty member at the school, was the most uniquely qualified.
