–Department of Catholic Schools announce additional school closures for today–

As fires continue to devastate the San Fernando and Santa Clarita valleys, Archbishop José H. Gomez offers prayers for impacted families and first responders. 

“We are facing a new outbreak of fires in the San Fernando and Santa Clarita regions,” said Archbishop José H. Gomez. “Please pray with me for the families at risk and also for the fire fighters and other first responders. May God keep them all safe and bring these fires to an end! May Our Blessed Mother Mary be close to all of them.”

The Department of Catholic Schools (DCS) for the Archdiocese of Los Angeles announced the following Catholic school closures for Friday, October 25, due to the fires in the San Fernando and Santa Clarita valleys (asterisk (*) indicates schools that have closed since last update was shared on night of Oct. 24).
