Ramona Participates in Archdiocesan Prayer Breakfast 2023
Sister Kathleen, Mr. Chavarria and eight of Ramona Convent’s amazing students joined 1200 Catholic leaders in the Archdiocese for the annual Archdiocesan Prayer Breakfast. The event began with Mass at 7:00 a.m. in the Cathedral of Our Lady of the Angels and was followed by breakfast in the cathedral plaza. An inspiring guest speaker Joe Sikorra spoke about Faith in Adversity. Drawing on his own experience as a police officer, stuntman, musician, and licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, he spoke about psychological, family, and faith topics and how these issues affect our everyday lives. He is the author of two books: Defying Gravity and The World is Going Crazy, but You Don’t Have To.
