St. Anthony High School’s annual 5K race raises $100,000
Run at St. Anthony High School in Long Beach broke records, with more than 1,600 people showing up to run and walk in the 5K race. The event also brought in a record-breaking amount in donations: they raised more than $100,000 for the school’s scholarship and financial aid program.

St. Gregory the Great School wins U.S. Navy SeaPerch Underwater Robotics competition
On March 18, St. Gregory the Great School in Whittier won first place in the middle school category of the Los Angeles regional division of the 2017 U.S. Navy SeaPerch Underwater Robotics competition at Fullerton College. They also placed second in the Obstacle Course and Engineering Notebook portion of the competition.
