Los Angeles cathedral exhibit honors Our Lady of Guadalupe, St. Juan Diego
An art exhibit honoring Our Lady of Guadalupe and St. Juan Diego currently on display at the Cathedral of Our Lady of the Angels in Los Angeles gives “give thanks for the blessings received through Nuestra Morenita and San Juan Diego, as patrons of the arts,” said artist Lalo Garcia.

Guadalupe art at L.A. cathedral until Dec. 16
Ten art pieces are part of the exhibit in honor of Our Lady of Guadalupe and St. Juan Diego installed today at the Cathedral of Our Lady of the Angels, 555 W. Temple Street and will be open to the public until December 16, 2019. The specially selected artwork by sacred artist by Lalo Garcia and artists Laura Vasquez Rodriguez, Rosa Maria Alvarez and Rick Ortega is installed adjacent to the chapel dedicated to Our Lady of Guadalupe, which houses the only piece of the tilma or cloak in the U. S., from the original in the Basilica of Our Lady of Guadalupe in Mexico City. The exhibit features images of the Virgin of Guadalupe and St. Juan Diego, and other spiritual and nature images.
